The farm is situated in a beautiful hilly area on the left side of the Samoggia river and it appears in the scenario of a wide valley worth because of the presence of the little romanic church of S.Maria Assunta of Fagnano.
The sunshine favours for the growth of typical fruits: cherries, pears, apricots and vegetables. Moreover the farm produces very good wine from its own grapeyards: Pignoletto, Sauvignon, Riesling, Barbera & Cabernet. The whole production is made in total respect of the environment by following the organic methods.
The farmer guests are welcome in a fireplace hall and a wide veranda from where they can enjoy the quiet valley of the Samoggia river while tasting some of the typical bolognese cooking, prepared with our own products and other very typical products of the area. If they like to stay overnight, it is possible to sleep in one of the old age furnished rooms
Moreover, a wide living room built in an old stable, is completely set for meetings, lectures and other little events.
Besides the white and red wines, the Fattoria Quercia also produces delicious jams made with the fruits grown in the farm, sugar and no other additives. It is also possible to order some typical homemade cakes or sweeties.
Camping people can stay in an equipped area beneath the cherry trees; there are wide spaces around for children to play, birdwatching, bowing, trekking, ping-pong and a swimming pool.
